In conjunction with Heartunions week – the CWU Midlands Region are hosting an event to discuss resisting the Trade Union Bill and the value of being a Trade Union member in the workplace.
With confirmed speakers of Tom Watson Deputy Leader of the Labour Party, Tony Kearns CWU Senior Deputy General Secretary, Lee Barron Midlands TUC Regional Secretary, Trudy Allen PCS Regional Organiser and Kate Phillips, NUT Representative. There will also be an open microphone session ‘What Unions Have Done For Us’.
The event will be chaired by Kate Hudson, CWU Midlands Regional Secretary and run from 18:30 to 20:30 in Room 506 in the Art Block Hall at: North Warwickshire & Hinckley College, Nuneaton Campus, Nuneaton, CV11 6BH
